Maritha Lightbourne
HEAD OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS
Maritha joined the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) in June 2005 on a temporary basis! Maritha’s role covers the full range of the Institute’s day to day business including management of accounts, compliance with company and charity law and Human Resources. In 2015 Maritha was appointed Company Secretary for the Institute and works closely with the Board of Council and Senior Management on Governance.
Maritha started her career as a Junior Accounts Assistant at Chrysalis Music while volunteering her time to assist in the administration of a non-profit organisation.
Maritha is an Affiliated member of The Chartered Governance Institute. She has a Master’s degree in Voluntary Sector Management (Cass Business School), a Diploma in Charity Accounting (ICAEW) and a FdA Business and Management qualification from Greenwich University.
Maritha is currently a trustee for Impact Family Centre. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her large family and learning British Sign Language.
