PPI Roundtable
Held Virtually
15 MAY 2024
On May 15th, the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) held a roundtable to launch Briefing Note 134 How might CDC develop in the UK?
Following a presentation on the high level findings by the Briefing Notes author, Lauren Wilkinson the roundtable chaired by David Fairs (Partner at LCP and PPI Governor) provided attendees with the opportunity to discuss the findings and to also feed in their thoughts, comments, and observations around the implementation of CDC in the UK.
Speakers included David Pitt-Watson who provided an overview of the potential benefits that CDC could deliver and how it could expand beyond the initial Royal Mail scheme. Tom McPhail spoke to attendees on the potential risks that could arise from CDC and impacts on further adoption of CDC beyond the Royal Mail scheme.
The observations made at the roundtable will inform the future direction of the research project.
A full write up from the roundtable will be available shortly.
