During the 2024 General Election campaign the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) will be publishing a series of papers kindly sponsored by the People’s Partnership (Gold Supporters of the PPI) setting out some of the pensions policy areas that are likely to receive active discussion during the 2024 General Election campaign.
This first Paper, launched on Wednesday 29 May 2024 and authored by John Adams, Senior Policy Analyst at the PPI deals with the triple lock measure for uprating the State Pension. It sets out the policy, the stakeholders in the policy, issues at stake, and other policy options that have been suggested.
